The seller

Prices and payment

• All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, where it applies, and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payment is taken by Stripe at the moment you place the order: by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. We never see your card details.
• If a price is obviously wrong (a typo, for example), we'll contact you before shipping and you can cancel for a full refund.

Orders and availability

• Every piece is made in a small run. An order is accepted when we email your confirmation; if a size sells out before then, we refund you in full straight away.
• We may refuse or cancel an order where we suspect fraud or resale; you'll always be refunded.
• Colours on screen can differ slightly from the garment. The fabric is described on every product page.

Shipping

Dispatch times, carriers and delivery estimates are on the Shipping & returns page. Risk passes to you when the carrier delivers the parcel to the address you gave us.

Returns and exchanges

You may return unworn pieces with tags within 14 days of delivery, as set out on the Shipping & returns page. Pieces marked final sale are excluded. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Intellectual property

The Chic by Achille Lovle name, emblem, photographs, videos and designs belong to us. You're welcome to share them with credit; please don't use them commercially without asking.

Liability

We're responsible for delivering what you ordered, in the condition described. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute we can't settle together will be heard by the courts of New York County, New York.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you place your order.
